DMS 103 Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonography I

This is the first of a two-course sequence providing an in-depth study of obstetrical and gynecological sonographic imaging. Covered are scanning guidelines, protocols, anatomy, and pathology of the female pelvis as related to gynecology and obstetrics. Emphasis is placed on the first trimester as well as abnormal pregnancies. Also covered are patient preparation and clinical signs and symptoms. R, W1, M2, 12 (2 lecture hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
