MLT 201 Medical Laboratory Technician Clinical Practicum I
This clinical practicum will assist students in gaining the needed skills and competencies that are expected of an entry-level MLT in Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Immunology. Students will be assigned to clinical site(s) for 30 hours per week under the supervision of a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist. A total of 240 clinical hours are required this semester. R, W1, M2, 12 (15 clinical hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate
Prerequisite
MLT 102 with a minimum grade of “C” and
MLT 103 with a minimum grade of “C”
Corequisite
MLT 104 must be taken at the same time a this course
