MLT 207 Medical Laboratory Technician Clinical Practicum III
Students will gain clinical experiences in the laboratory sections of Microbiology and Immunology in the laboratory setting. This allows students to apply the knowledge and skills obtained in the didactic component of the curriculum to real life experiences in a live laboratory. Students will be assigned to clinical site(s) for 25 hours per week under the supervision of a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist. A total of 400 clinical hours are required this semester. R, W1, M2, 12 (25 clinical hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
Prerequisite
MLT 202 with a minimum grade of “C” and
MLT 203 with a minimum grade of “C” and
MLT 204 with a minimum grade of “C” and
MLT 205 with a minimum grade of “C”
Corequisite
MLT 206 and
MLT 208 must be taken at the same time as this course
