MLT 205 Medical Laboratory Technician Clinical Practicum II

Students will gain clinical experiences in the laboratory sections of Hematology, Coagulation, and Blood Bank in the laboratory setting. This allows students to apply the knowledge and skills obtained in the didactic component of the curriculum to real life experiences in a live laboratory. Students will be assigned to clinical site(s) for 25 hours per week under the supervision of a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist. A total of 400 clinical hours are required this semester. R, W1, M2, 12 (25 clinical hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
