Advanced Placement
The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) program allows students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school and receive credit upon entering college.
Students who have completed the College Board Advanced Placement examinations may be eligible to apply for college credit. The credit will be the equivalent of one or more specific courses. If no equivalent course is offered, elective credit will be awarded. Students should send official AP scores to LLCC Records for evaluation.
Students may view AP exams, scores, and credit course equivalencies by visiting Advanced Placement Exam Scores and Equivalencies. Students should meet with a student success advisor for appropriate advisement.
