IMD 250 Responsive Web Design

This course introduces strategies and techniques of designing and developing a website that respond to various digital devices while delivering best user experiences. Learn innovative design practices to efficiently maximize responsive design and understand how to address user experience design trade-offs. You will also understand how to develop HTML, CSS3, media queries, fluid grid layout systems and flexible visual content that will adapt to various viewing devices and environments. Upon completion, you will create websites using a variety of layout strategies, upload the site to a web server, and publish it for search engine optimization. 12 (6 laboratory hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
