CSC 240 Introduction to Microsoft Server

This course introduces students with basics of installing and administering the Microsoft Windows Server Operating System and helps with the development of server administration skills. Topics include configuring and managing Windows Server; configuring storage and file systems; configuring advanced storage solutions; implementing virtualization; and maintaining server installations. Completion of this course provides a foundation for entry-level employment in Microsoft Windows networking or continued study in this specialty area. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)

Prerequisite: CNC 140 with a minimum grade of 'C'. Students may substitute CSC 130 and CSC 131 for CNC 140.
