CSC 130 CISCO IT Essentials

This course is the first in a series for students wanting to pursue a career in information technology as a PC Technician or a Network Administrator. It begins with the basics of technology and progresses through the assembly of a computer system. Features and functions of computer components are introduced. The process of preparing and installing the components is detailed in a step-by-step manner. This course also covers hardware fundamentals for servers, fundamentals of a network and the physical components of a network. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
