CSC 131 Introduction to Networks
This course is an introduction to fundamental networking concepts and technologies. It is the first of three courses that prepare students to take the CCNA Certification Exam (V7). Topics include the development, planning and implementation of small networks; network components and their functions; network topologies; Local Area Networks (LANs); Wide Area Networks (WANs); settings for routers and switches; and the implementation of Internet Protocols (IP’s). R, 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
