CSC 242 Cybersecurity

This course introduces an overview of cybersecurity – a practice used to protect the data and integrity of assets belonging to or connecting to an organization's network. Cybersecurity serves to defend against threats throughout the entire cyber-attack life cycle. This course provides a comprehensive view of secure software organization and best practices with system operations. Topics include an overview of the ISO 12207 standard, standard lifecycle management, agreement processes, portfolio management, human resource management, quality management, ICT project management, operations, maintenance, and additional models for ensuring software and system security. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
