Pre-Nursing Emphasis • Associate in Science

Transfer Program

Colleague Code: AS.PNUR

Curriculum Code: ASD  101

Program Information:

This program is appropriate for those students interested in further study of nursing at four-year institutions (not Associate Degree Nursing programs). The pre-nursing program emphasizes a broad liberal arts background with courses in social science, behavioral sciences, humanities and communications. However, since program requirements vary among the four-year schools, the courses are only suggested guidelines. Students are strongly encouraged to explore the specific program requirements of the four-year schools they are considering for their transfer, as they make their course selections for their first two years of study at LLCC. Speak to your Student Success Coach for assistance when selecting your courses.
