DMS 201 Clinical Practicum I
This course provides clinical opportunities for students to practice patient care and sonographic scanning under the supervision of an ARDMS- or ARRT-registered sonographer. Students practice scanning and procedures at a clinical site for 20 hours per week for a total of 160 hours. R, W1, M2, 12 (10 clinical hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
Prerequisite
DMS 102 with a minimum grade of 'C' and
DMS 103 with a minimum grade of 'C' and
DMS 108 with a minimum grade of 'C' and
DMS 109 with a minimum grade of 'C'
Corequisite
DMS 106 - must be taken at the same time as this course.
