AVI 116 Ice and Rain Control Systems and Fire Protection Systems
This course covers the different types of methods of application of the ice and rain control systems used on general and commercial type aircraft. Students explore the components and the operation of common types of fire detection, fire extinguishing and smoke detection. Toxic gas detection systems are utilized. R, 12 (2 lecture hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
