AVI 199 Aviation Mathematics and Physics

This course focuses on basic mathematics and physics principles used in the aviation industry. Students learn basic math topics about algebraic operations, fractions, exponents, area and volume of geometric figures. Basic principles of physics for mechanics such as simple machines, heat dynamics, fluid and gas laws, work and power, and air pressure are covered. R, 12 (2 lecture hours and 1 laboratory hour) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
