AVI 111 Welding, Assembly and Rigging

This course covers the basic understanding of gas, arc and TIG welding. Students gain knowledge in identifying fuselage and landing gear structural components, analyze their construction and become familiar with rigging procedures, alignments checks and jacking of an aircraft. Students are able to identify the functions and effects of these components directly associated with the aircraft. R, 12 (2 lecture hours and 4 laboratory hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
