MAT 096 Developmental Intermediate Algebra II

This course in intermediate algebra of the real number system is designed for students who have some background in algebra, either high school algebra or MAT 094, but who still lack the preparation needed to study math courses beyond MAT 096. Topics covered include absolute value equations and inequalities, quadratic functions and their graphs, exponential functions and logarithmic functions. This course is not designed for transfer credit, nor will credit be given towards an associate degree. 14 (2 lecture hours) Prerequisite: MAT 094 with a minimum grade of C or appropriate placement score
