Program Information:
Agriculture is the largest industry in the United States, with one out of five jobs related to the agricultural industry. Agriculture graduates can join the industry and find a career in many different areas. Agronomists, agricultural and food scientists, animal scientists, engineers, and business specialists work in supplying products and services to help farmers produce the food, fiber, and fuel that our country depends upon. Other agriculture occupations will process and market raw commodities into the final products that consumers need. Horticulturalists create landscapes and supplement the agricultural and medical industries with fruit, nut, and herbal crops. This degree prepares students for transfer to a four-year university.

Students electing to transfer to Bachelor of Science programs in Agriculture fields should take BIO 111 and/or BIO 112 while students planning to transfer into Bachelor of Arts programs should take BIO 101.

The following courses will be offered in the fall semester only: AGR 215. The following classes will be offered in the spring semester only: AGR 203 (prerequisite of CHE 100 or CHE 101) and AGR 208.
NOTE: All courses in this paradigm may only be used once to fulfill credit hour requirements in this paradigm.
AGR 205 will also be an optional AGR program course.
