AGR 102 Animal Science

This course introduces the application of the sciences of genetics, physiology and nutrition to the improvement of the animal industries, as well as management and production practices. Units of study include animal breeds and breeding and selection; anatomy, physiology, nutrition and growth; environment, health and sanitation; and animal behavior. Also discussed are products and marketing; production technology and economics and current issues in animal science.
