Adult Education and Literacy
LLCC Adult Education provides programming throughout the LLCC district, with a commitment to delivering diverse educational opportunities. The program offers a variety of essential services, including Adult Basic Education (ABE) for foundational skills, High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) preparation, English Language Acquisition (ELA) for language proficiency, vocational and employability skills training to enhance career prospects, bridge programming for a smooth transition into credit-bearing and short-term certificate programs, and tutoring services to foster the development of basic skills such as reading, writing and math.
The program is designed to meet the needs of students aged 17 years or older who are not enrolled in regular high school classes. LLCC Adult Education classes aim to empower learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for personal and professional development.
