Online Courses

Online courses at LLCC offer a flexible option for learners who are unable to access traditional education. These content-oriented courses are taught online and are comparable to traditional, in-person classes. Students enrolling in online courses should understand that they require the same time commitment for studying, reading and completing assignments. Online students must be prepared to read assignments, participate in discussions, take tests, ask and answer questions, and communicate with instructors and classmates online. Hybrid Courses (Online)

Hybrid courses, like online courses, are a benefit to students who are unable to access traditional education. Hybrid courses combine the benefits of online courses and traditional face-to-face courses. While the majority of hybrid course work will be completed online, there will be scheduled (required) face-to-face class times on campus. It is important that students enrolling in hybrid courses are aware of the required on-campus meeting times and are able to attend each session.

Remote Courses

A remote course will meet on scheduled days and times via Zoom or other online communication technology. Students and instructors in this type of course will interact online in real time. Students will access the course via the internet to view and participate in live lectures and activities.

Sync Courses

A sync course (synchronous satellite location) offers additional flexibility and reduced travel by being able to remotely join a face-to-face class from one of LLCC's other locations through the use of video conferencing.
