SGT 108 Pharmacology for the Surgical Technologist

This course introduces students to the field of pharmacology as it pertains to surgical technology. Basic concepts pertaining to medication regulation, preparation for administration, as well as the care and handling of medications are introduced. In addition, anesthesia administration, medications and complications are discussed. 12 (2 lecture hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.

BIO 175 and SGT 101 with a minimum grade of 'C' and SGT 105 with a minimum grade of 'C'

Corequisite

SGT 112 - must be taken at the same time as this course.
