EGL 202 Survey of British Literature II

This course is the second semester of a two-semester chronological survey of British literature from the Anglo-Saxon period to modern time. Emphasized are the artistic value of literature and an understanding of how history and culture influence the development of literary movements. This course surveys the Romantic Period, the Victorian Period, the Transition period, Modernism, Post-Modernism, the latter 20th century and the early 21st century.
