DMS 102 Abdominal Sonography I
This is the first of a two-course sequence providing an in-depth study of abdominal sonographic imaging. Covered are scanning guidelines, protocols, anatomy, and pathology of the liver, gallbladder, biliary system, pancreas, spleen, and urinary system. Emphasis is also placed on patient preparation clinical signs and symptoms. R, W1, M2, 12 (3 lecture hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
