PCN 102 Practical Nursing II

This course continues to utilize the nursing process to care for patients with common health problems throughout the life span. The concepts of quality, safety, patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and technology are further developed. Theory, laboratory, and clinical practice are correlated to prepare the student to provide safe, quality nursing care. R, W2, M1, 12 (3 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours and 12 clinical hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.

PCN 101 with a minimum grade of 'C' - must be completed prior to this course

Prerequisite/Corequisite

BIO 176 and PSY 101 - must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
