NDT 140 Neurodiagnostic Modalities
This course provides introductory-level information about the various modalities within the clinical neurodiagnostic setting. Basic information and techniques are covered to give students the foundation needed as an entry-level technologist. This course focuses on the modalities of polysomnography (PSG), evoked potentials (EP), intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) and nerve conduction studies (NCS). Introduction to basic long-term monitoring (LTM) procedures, ambulatory EEG and continuous EEG in the intensive care setting is incorporated. R, W1, 12 (3 lecture hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
