ESS 244 Sport in American Culture
This course will explore the historical development of sport in American culture. It will explore the place of sport in society from early settlements through modern society. This course will cover topics involved with sport such as, race, gender, ethnicity, and social class. This course will examine changes in sport over time and how outside factors influenced, or were influenced by, sport. 11 (2 lecture hours)
