ELM 102 Electrical Safety Certificates

This course is designed to introduce students to OSHA 10 policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. Special emphasis will be placed on areas most hazardous using OSHA standards as guidelines. CPR/1st Aid/AED certification will prepare students to recognize and care for first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. Students will earn OSHA 10 and CPR/1^st Aid/AED certification cards. We will introduce career paths, conduct site visits, and have guest speakers from the field. 12 (2 laboratory hours)
