EDU 201 Introduction to Teacher Education
This course provides prospective teachers with a historical and philosophical overview of American public education. Topics included are organization and administration, financing, legal aspects, curriculum, school personnel, student diversity and current trends and issues. The course includes 30 hours of field experience. R, W1, 11 (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires a background check with a fee payable to the vendor.
