EDL 110 Lineworker Safety Certifications
Students will study OSHA 10 policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. CPR/1st Aid/AED certification will prepare students to recognize and care for variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. Students will also complete DOT Flagger certification in order to be safe and effective flaggers. Tool identification and safety is also included. Students will earn OSHA 10, CPR/1st Aid/AED certification, Flagger Training certification, and forklift operator certification. 12 (1 lecture hour and 1 laboratory hour) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional fee.
