CVS 214 Comprehensive Echocardiography

This course expands upon the information gained in CVS 114. Students will have the opportunity to review normal values for echocardiography measurements and will extend their understanding of cardiac pathologies. Topics include pericardial disease, cardiomyopathy, valve disorders, masses, imaging of congenital heart disease, echocardiography procedures, and other relevant subjects. R, W1, M2, 12 (3 lecture hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
