CSC 240 Introduction to Microsoft Server
This course provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to design and implement Microsoft Virtual Desktop infrastructure solutions. An overview of system infrastructure, migration methodologies, cost optimization, and security is provided. Specific topics include: managing and securing virtual desktop deployments; optimizing performance and scalability; integrating the desktop with other services; managing user experiences and profiles, and implementing backup strategies. R, 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours).
Prerequisite
CSC 131 or CNC 140 with a minimum grade of 'C'.
