CRJ 240 Community-Based Services and Crises Intervention
This course is designed to examine mental health resources and crisis intervention for offenders and civilian members of the community. Alternatives to incarceration such as community-based correctional programs, judicial programs, and outpatient mental health services are components of this course. This course will also cover the necessary skills to effectively help a variety of individuals to successfully overcome crises. This course may include field trips and activities outside the classroom. R, 11 (4 lecture hours)
