CMA 131 CNA to Clinical Medical Assistant Externship
This course provides the opportunity for students to complete their hands-on externship in medical assisting skills and procedures. Students practice at an externship site for a minimum of 60 hours under preceptor supervision. Clinical competency continues on additional procedures learned in class. 12 (4 externship hours)
Prerequisite
Completion of
CMA 111 with a minimum grade of 75% within the past 12 months
Be CPR certified
Have a clear drug screen and background check
Submit all required immunizations and be compliant in Complio
