BUS 265 Business Databases Using Microsoft Access
Business Databases with Microsoft Access offers instruction in the development and production of relational databases used to make business decisions. Students will use Access to create and design customized tables, forms, complex queries, and reports; join one or more database objects to form a relationship; build and troubleshoot macros; and learn the basics of database administration. Students will learn how to install and use Access to retrieve, select, filter, group, perform calculations, and integrate data with other applications. Students will learn through guided practice within the application and from simulated business examples. Students may have opportunities to earn industry-recognized badges and would be prepared to sit for the current Microsoft certification exam, although not a course requirement. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
