ADN 232 Nursing III
This course uses the nursing process to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care. Emphasis is placed on patients with health alterations related to oxygenation (ventilation, transport and perfusion), ingestion, digestion, absorption, elimination, urinary function and male reproductive mechanisms. Focus is on the application of nursing interventions based on current evidence-based practice. 12 (6 lecture hours and 12 clinical hours). Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
Prerequisite
ADN 120 with a minimum grade of 'C' and
BIO 176 with a minimum grade of 'C' and
PSY 101 with a minimum grade of 'C'
Prerequisite/Corequisite
BIO 220 - must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
