This program prepares students with professional and technical skills required to be successful in the automotive repair industry. Students that complete the associate degree can transfer to a four-year institution to complete a Bachelor of Science in automotive technology. Students who complete the associate degree could also go work in the repair industry locally and abroad.

Students should meet with the course instructor after completing 30 hours of Automotive program course work to get AUT 210 Internship course approvals.
Note: For students wishing to transfer to a four-year university, they should pursue a pathway that substitutes EGL 101 and 102 for EGL 103 and 106 or CMN 104. Contact your transfer institution and Student Success Advisor for guidance on transferable general education coursework.
