ELM 116 Introduction to Fire Alarm, Security, and Access Control Systems

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and components of electronic security systems including fire alarms, intrusion detection, and access control systems. Students will explore real-world applications, wire and program basic systems, and learn how to troubleshoot and integrate devices into a functioning security solution. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. 12 (3 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
