ECE 214 Practicum Intensive
This course offers students an intensive, hands-on experience in early childhood education, ECE 214 provides an opportunity for supervised practical work with young children, allowing students to apply and refine their skills in a real-world setting. Students are required to complete a 5-hour intensive practicum every Monday at the LLCC child development center. To ensure high-quality practices and professional growth, one hour of this time will be dedicated to direct supervision and reflection with a faculty member. Practicum assignments may be tailored to align with students’ career goals and specific interests when possible. R, W1, 12 (20 laboratory hours).
Prerequisite
ECE 105 with a minimum grade of "C",
ECE 109 with a minimum grade of "C" and
ECE 122 with a minimum grade of "C" and permission of instructor.
Corequisite
ECE 215 must be taken at the same time as this course.
Prerequisite/Corequisite
ECE 205 must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
