Program Information:

This degree introduces students to the foundations of business administration, including marketing, management and sales. This degree provides students with the necessary groundwork to transfer to a four-year university after completing an Associate in Arts degree.

  • Students planning to transfer are recommended to verify senior-institution requirements, which vary.
  • Please refer to the appropriate university catalog for requirements.
  • Students who are planning on teaching in a secondary school are required to have a specified ACT score or to take an alternative test (determined by the State of Illinois) prior to transferring to an upper-division institution. Students should contact their transfer institution for more specific information associated with possible tests required for advancement in that program and for more information associated with this.
