  • Neurodiagnostic Technologists conduct tests or studies such as electroencephalography (EEG), polysomnography (PSG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and intraoperative monitoring (IOM).
  • The first semester of this program begins in August and this certificate of achievement program must be taken in its entirety to meet certificate requirements.
  • Students are involved in approximately 640 contact hours of clinical experience during the one-year program. National Certification as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist requires graduates to pass the examination administered by ABRET – Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation.
  • Career cluster includes: Neurodiagnostic (EEG) Technologist in a hospital, clinic, research facility, physicians’ office and travel assignments.
