MUS 204 Survey of Music History and Literature

This course is designed as an introduction to the standard concert repertory through intensive guided listening, reading, and writing. Representative selections by major composers of each era are chosen to illustrate the characteristics styles, techniques, forms and performance practices of vocal and instrumental music.
