HUM 111 Introduction to LGBTQ Studies

An introduction to some of the major concepts and issues surrounding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer history, art, and culture. The course will explore the contributions of scholars and artists to this field from a range of past and current academic perspectives and examine some of the ways that LGBTQ Studies influences broader cultural theory and issues, such as class, race, and ethnicity.
