EMS 202 Paramedic - Medical/Trauma

This course is the second of three required to complete the Paramedic program. Students develop proficiency in the roles, responsibilities and skill level required by state and national standards for licensing as a Paramedic. Emphases are placed on a variety of medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, assessment and stabilization of patients. R, 12 (9 lecture hours, 4 laboratory hours and 6 clinical hours) Note: Students must attend the first class session to be seated. No late registrations are allowed due to IDPH attendance regulations.
