ELM 101 Workplace Safety Certifications
Students are introduced to OSHA 10 policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. Special emphasis will be placed on areas most hazardous using OSHA standards as guidelines. CPR/1st Aid/AED certification will prepare students to recognize and care for variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. Students will earn OSHA 10 and CPR/1st Aid/AED certification cards. 12 (1 lecture hour)
