EDL 130 Electrical Lineman Climbing Training
Upon successful completion of this course, students are able to climb utility poles. Skills they perform are various maneuvers such as free climbing, belted climbing, walking around the pole, adjusting the safety strap and leaning out. Installation of single and double eight feet and 10 feet crossarms and other pole hardware are taught. 12 (1.5 lecture hours and 4 laboratory hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional course fee.
