ECE 201 Science and Math

This course provides students with the knowledge, skills and techniques necessary to incorporate science and mathematic concept development into an integrated, developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom. Emphasis is placed on the need of the young child to understand biological and physical science and mathematics concepts in the environment, on the development of environmental understanding, and an integrated curriculum in a developmentally appropriate classroom.
