DET 206 Hydraulic System Diagnosis and Repair

Students will learn and apply the proper diagnostic and service procedures to service hydraulic systems used on modern equipment. Special emphasis is placed on system diagnostics utilizing hydraulic schematics and manufacturer service information. Systems include power steering, hitch, and bucket/loader functions.12 (2 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
