EMS 111 Advanced EMT - Special Populations
This course is the last of two required courses to complete the Advanced EMT program. Students master the roles, responsibilities and skill level required for licensing as an Advanced EMT. Emphases are placed on special considerations that include terrorism and hazardous materials management. This course also addresses special populations, assessment-based management and rescue operations. R, 12 (4 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours and 2 clinical hours)
Prerequisite
EMS 110 with a minimum grade of 'B' Must pass
EMS 110 final exam with a minimum grade of 80%.
