ABM 207 Precision Agriculture Technology
This course provides an in-depth study of Global Information Systems, Global Positioning Systems, Variable Rate Technology, remote sensing (UAV's, airplanes, satellite imagery), precision map creation and interpretation, and use of precision technology hardware on planters, sprayers, and combines. Students will also become proficient in various agricultural software applications including Fieldview, AgVance, and iFarm. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours) Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
