MUS 102 Music Theory II
Music Theory II is the second course in the Theory sequence. This course includes written harmony, Roman numeral analysis, harmonic progressions, modulations, the dominant 7th chord, non-dominant 7th chords, secondary dominant chords of all types and song forms. Aural skills (sight singing, melodic and harmonic dictation, keyboard experience) continue to be developed. M1, 11 (4 lecture hours) Prerequisite: MUS 101 with a minimum grade of C or equivalent
